Contact Lens Consultation and Fitting

As every eye is unique in terms of prescription, shape and curvature, it is mandatory to go through a contact lens consulltation and fitting. Whether you are a new contact lens wearer or an experienced user, we will guide you through the process.

What Does The Contact Lens Consultation Include? 

Our optometrists will first check your spectacle prescription. Next, we will measure your shape and curvature of your eyes. Lastly, we will examine your anterior eye health in detail to ensure that your eyes are suitable for contact lens wear.

Before we fit any lenses on you, we will discuss about how you would like to use your contact lenses (frequency, activity etc) before recommending the most appropriate one based on your needs and your eye profile.

Once the lenses are worn, we will check the fitting of the lenses and ensure that the lenses are well-centred and have good coverage, as well as have good movement characteristics, which are essential for safe and comfortable lens wearing experience.  We will also perform visual acuity checks to ensure the best possible vision with the lenses.
