Pursuit of Eye Care Excellence
Founded in 2022 out of a desire to make thoughtful eyewear accessible, sightonomy began as a small eyewear retailer housed in a studio in Singapore's Chinatown area. Over time, we understand from our customers that many needed more than just a quick prescription check - they needed thorough eye health assessments and tailored management plans for each individual's unique vision requirements.
Today, we have evolved into a well-equipped optometry practice with advanced diagnostic equipment that allows us to focus on delivering quality, evidence-based eye care for people of all ages.

Stylish Eyewear at Accessible Prices
Sightonomy was founded on the belief that prescription glasses can be stylish and be affordable at the same time. Even as we keep prices low, build quality standards should be maintained.
We also recognise the important aspects of what makes a pair of glasses work - clear vision and good wearing comfort. These are achieved through the expertise and finishing touches of our optometrists and opticians.
OUR MODEL
Less Is More
Luxury brands typically do not manufacture their own eyewear and instead sell the label rights to the few big corporations in the industry. These companies will produce and sell these eyewear to optical stores, who will then add the final markup along this chain before the consumer buys the pair of eyewear.
Sightonomy works directly with the manufacturers for production and sells the eyewear direct to consumers.
By cutting out the middlemen, we can avoid the unnecessary markups at each level and pass them on as significant savings to our customers.
OUR NAME
What's In Our Name
sightonomy [SYT] + [TON] + [UH] + [MEE] is a combination of two words - "Sight" and "Autonomy".
We define this as "the freedom of an individual to express one's self through eyewear and the ability to act in the best interests of their vision."
At sightonomy, we want to empower people to make thoughtful and well-informed decisions for their style and vision needs through our professional expertise.
